There are some fantastic vistas of Long Island Sound that you may not have seen if you have not run this race before. Then you can enjoy a downhill run to the 4-mile mark. The course moves back across to the other side of the east bridge and runs west along the boardwalk to the finish at the main entrance. This is one of the most scenic and challenging trail runs on Long Island.
