Race Course:

The course is scenic and includes the famous Snake and Cardiac Hills. Timing and results by SRC Timing Services.  Absolutely no pets or baby joggers allowed on the course!

Race History:

2023: Perfect fall weather for the race, sunny and breezy with temperatures in the low 50s and dry conditions throughout the course.  160 participants including 42 from NRC finished the course, with our own Brandon Garnier Winkler winning in a time of 15:12.

Post Race Festivities:

Post race snacks followed by an award ceremony and raffles.

Individual Awards:

$100 Sayville Smithtown Running Company gift cards will be awarded to the top male and female overall; male and female masters and male and female Veteran.  No duplication of awards.

Age-group awards will be presented to the top 3 male and female in the following categories: 13 & under, 14-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 -79 & Over 80. There will be no duplication of awards.

Long sleeve tech shirts from previous years will be available for sale for $10 each.

Directions:

Long Island Expressway (I-495) to Exit 53N (Sunken Meadow/ Sagtikos Parkway), or Northern State Parkway to Exit 44N (Sunken Meadow Parkway). Take Sunken Meadow Parkway North to the end for park entrance.  Please be aware that you may be charged a State Park admission fee if you enter the park after 8:00 AM unless you have an Empire Park Pass.
