1977

 Club formed. First running of the Great Cow Harbor 10K Run The original Board was comprised of John Rakucewicz, Dale Barest, William Gehrhardt, Declan Quigley, and Paul Stillman.   John Rakucewicz was the original president, but stepped down after 3 months, being replaced by William Gehrhardt, in order to give more attention to the first Cow Harbor race.  Data is unavailable as to which Board member held which of the remaining Board positions.

1978
